Life is good!

I have been so blessed to be where I am today. So much has happened in the last year that I can't help but be grateful and know that Heavenly Father is in my life. In December we were able to move back to Arizona and stay with my mom and dad for awhile. Jared is starting Law School in August and we are excited for this new adventure. I had the opportunity to complete my student teaching at Pinnacle high school. I got to work with a fun, hardworking teacher who taught me lots and got me excited to be a teacher. I finally graduated with a BS degree in Physical Education Teacher Education. This has been a long time coming. Within the same month I had our little boy Ryder Slade. He was born on April 28th and is growing so fast. My little family complete. I have completely fallen in love with the boys in my life and they have stolen my heart. I can't believe I am a mom of two little sweet boys. Ryder arrived on April 28th at 1:32 pm. He weighed 6lbs 14oz and was 19in long. He is the sweetest little thing ever. Nash is the best big brother and he loves Ryder so much. He wants to sing to him to help him stop crying and always wants to kiss him. I just love watching Nash with him and I am so blessed to be these two boys' mom. I could have not asked for a better job. Jared and I want to thank everyone for their love and support. We have been blessed with wonderful people in our lives who have helped us so much. I will try to post more pictures later. I am still trying to adjust to having two little ones.

Things are falling in to place

We have been so blessed this last year and know Heavenly Father is watching out for us. This past year Jared graduated from BYU and found a good job to support our family so that I could go back and finish my degree. We are moving in 19 days to Phoenix where I will be able to do my student teaching and where Jared will be attending Law School. This past weekend we received news that Jared was accepted to Phoenix School of Law and received a half Scholarship. I am so very proud of all his accomplishments and know that our Heavenly Father is constantly blessing us to make this happen. We also found out that we are expecting another little boy in May. We couldn't be happier. I am very excited to finally be moving back closer to family. I have missed my family so much and can not wait to be near all of them.

My life and Jared's life has always been revolved around sports of some kind. Jared and I have always wanted to share our love for sports with our children. Nash has been that special boy who since birth has loved being outside and loves all sports!!!! He is a natural. I know I am his mother so I have to say that, but I am not the only one who thinks so. I love the fact that he loves sports so much without Jared or I pushing the love on him. Yesterday I saw a t-ball set that I just had to get him. When he saw me put it in my cart his eyes lit up and said, "Yeah Baseball" He has not stopped playing with it since we got it. I video him yesterday hitting the ball. I love this little guy so much!!!!! I can not wait until he can actually play in T-ball.

Last week the Inmans came into town for one of their nephews baptism. Kelly and Darin invited us to go to Lagoon for Rylee's birthday and we we were so excited to see them and it worked out that Jared had off the day we were going. We had so much fun with them and with Cammie riding the fun and scary rides. Nash loved it and wanted to ride all of the rides. I took him on a dragon ride and he loved it at first cause it was really slow but then the ride sped up and Nash got really quite and his eyes were really big. The ride came to a stop and then started going backwards. Nash was not impressed and turned to me and said, "um I am all done". He was really cute and loved hanging out with Gunner. He loves his cousin Gunner and wants to play with him all the time. Here are a couple of pictures of them both riding an airplane ride together.

Ok so in May I had the opportunity to go on a wonderful vacation. I loved the beautiful island Kauai but I will admit I missed Nash so much that I called the airline to see if we could catch a flight a day earlier to come home. Well we didn't end up doing that and I am glad I got to enjoy one more day with my husband on this beautiful island. I loved wearing my different bathing suits and loved seeing the beautiful sights and eating the fun food. We did several different activities, which included floating down the sugar plantation ditches, going to a Laua and zip lining, which by far was my favorite. I was really nervous to zip line but I had no idea how fun it was. I also enjoyed the Laua and the wonderful food. Overall this trip was amazing and I can not wait to be able to take our kids to Hawaii one day. Here are some pictures of us in Hawaii. I hope you enjoy them.

Graduation

This weekend Jared graduated from BYU. Although he has been done with school since December he walked for graduation on Friday. His graduation was in the Joseph Smith Building and it was awesome to see him walk and receive his diploma. Linda and Jesse came into town to celebrate this great occasion with us. They came in on Thursday and we celebrated by going to Jared's favorite place Carrabba's and had a wonderful dinner. When we arrived there Richard G. Scott was there as well. It was really neat to see an Apostle face to face. You could really feel the spirit when you were around him. I really wanted to take Nash up to meet him but he had so many people around him and I didn't want to bug him. Early Friday morning we woke up and got ready for Jared's graduation. After the graduation we went out to breakfast as a family. The rest of the weekend was filled with fun filled shopping and going to the Park yesterday for a BBQ. After tons of activities the Robinson's left today and Jared and I went to church. I really enjoyed having family and can't wait to be around them more often.

I am so proud of Jared and all that he has accomplished and all that he will accomplish. He has great dreams and really wants to make a difference in the world. I am greatful for a husband who wants whats best for his family but also wants to do something greater for his country. I feel very blessed and gratefull to be apart of his life. I just looked at my blog and saw how long it was since I last updated this thing. So there has been a lot of things that have happened since I was last on here. We went to Arizona for Christmas for a week an half and had a wonderful time with family and friends. I had my last day of work on January 5th. It was a glorious day. I started school full time on January 6th. Not so much glorious more like overwhelming. Now school is more fun. I graduate April of 2011 with a Bachelors in Physical Education, Teacher Education. I am very excited. Jared graduated with a 3.53 GPA. I am very proud of him!!! Now he is studying for the LSAT and will apply and start Law School in August of 2011. We are applying for many different schools but of course our goal is ASU. If we dont get it its ok we will go where Heavenly Father sends us. I am so thankful for where we are at at this time. We have accomplished many goals since we have been married and continue to accomplish many more. Nash is going to a pre-school while I am attending school. He loves it and loves to learn. He loves sports. All sports. He is actually very good at them. I am not just saying that because I am his mom but because he is actually very talented and a born athlete. I will post pictures soon. I would do it now but my son thinks I want to fight and so he keeps punching me and running and tackling me while I am sitting on the floor trying to write. So I will be going now to defend myself against this almost TWO year old. Oh how I love my life.

This time of the year always finds me reflecting and realizing that I have so many things to be thankful for. It is probably because of the Holidays and remembering our Savior. Whatever the reason may be I am grateful that this time of year helps me remember these blessings. Jared has only one week of school left, then finals. He has worked so hard these last two semesters and now it is my turn. I am very excited to go back to school in January. I am more happy that I get to be with Nash more. It breaks my heart to go to work and leave him behind. I know I know it makes him stronger. But while he supposedly is getting stronger I have felt myself getting weaker and feeling very inadequate these past few months. Feeling that my son needs me and I am not there for him. Today I am just thankful for a husband who supports me and reminds me daily that our child loves me more than anyone. Although I do not believe him sometimes I am still thankful that he gives me that support everyday. I am so excited to for Christmas this year because I will have two weeks where I can be with Jared and Nash and not feel as though I am abandoning them. I know I am just babbling and not really making sense but this past week I have decided just To Be THANKFUL!!! So as this year comes to an end I can say I have tried to care for my family and provide for them but now when the new year starts it is my turn to be with my baby and enjoy him all day. Thank you Jared for making that possible. I absolutely love my family and my life!

We had a fun filled weekend with some very wonderful memories that we would like to share with everyone. This weekend we had Grandma Robinson come into town and we had a lot of fun. On Friday we went to my volleyball games and Nash wanted to play with me on the court. He is so cute and loves any sport there is. He was born to play sports. On Saturday we started our day with breakfast then Jared and Nash got their hair cut. We then went to the park and enjoyed playing disc golf and playing on the swing set. After that we got ready to go to the mall for Trick - Treating. This year Nash was a Dalmatian puppy and loved wearing his costume. He would go up to the people who were passing out candy, "trick er treat, woof woof" He was so cute and had so much fun!!!!! Here are some pictures of our fun filled weekend.

So Fall has come and winter is right around the corner. These last two weeks have been beautiful here in Utah. I love seeing all of the leaves on the ground. I really love this time of year but I can do without the snow. This past month has gone by so fast I am not sure if I am prepared to have another harsh winter. Nash is getting bigger and bigger every day. He loves to play outside and would be out there all day if I let him. I wish we had a back yard for him to play out there. He is the best baby ever. Jared finishes school in December and we are probably going to have Cammie live with us starting in January and Christie will be living with her other Aunt in American Fork. I am really excited to have family close by. I promise I will post pictures this week of Nash.

Today is Jared's birthday!!!! He is now 25 years old. I am so proud to be his wife and proud of who he has become today. He is a great example and loves life, learning, sports, food and our little son. He graduates in December and is working really hard to finish strong and get a good job so I can go back to school. His favorite sport is Disc golf and he is very good at it. He loves watching football on Sunday's and Monday's. His favorite team is the Cardinals. He is an Arizona boy through and through. He is majoring in International Relations and minoring in German. He loves to read and also loves to play Wii with Nash and I. He loves the gospel and loves his Heavenly Father. He is devoted and works hard. I love him more than life and again I am proud to be his wife and best friend. I hope your day is special and you have a great birthday.

I can not believe that July is already over. So much has happened in this last month I do not know where to begin. For the fourth of July I went to Arizona for a family reunion and had so much fun. It was the first time in a long time that all of my sisters and I were together. During that week we celebrated my parents 40th anniversary. Kim put together a wonderful video of all of us over the years. I love my family and I love being around them. Also Jared and I found a different apartment and moved to Orem. We love our new place and are so excited to have the moving done. Thank you everyone that helped us that day. We appreciate it. Last week Nash fell and hit his nose pretty bad that we thought he could have broke it. So we took him to the doctor and luckily he did not break it but did bruise it badly and it was swollen for a few days. Being the bad parent I am I do not have any pictures with my camera of this sad event. Jared is almost done with his summer term and then he will only have fall semester and then he is done. We are proud of him and can not wait to go to the next step of our lives. This summer has been a lot of fun and I can not believe that it is almost over.

Happy Birthday Deanna! I am thankful for all of my sisters who have all taught me a life lesson. Humbled that we lost a sister but thankful that we, as sisters are closer today and do not take our time together for granted. Thankful for our parents who have taught us about our Savior and to turn to him in time of need. But mostly today I am thankful that Heavenly Father gave our family the opportunity to be a part of Deanna's life. Thank you for touching us all in some special way. We love you!

This weekend Linda came into town to spend time with Nash. Today we had a lot of fun playing and having a bbq with our ward. Nash has been showing off for everyone. I want to wish all of the special mothers in my life a Happy Mother's Day! I love you mom and I want to thank you for all you have done for me! You are truly a wonderful person inside and out. You raised 7 wonderful and BEAUTIFUL daughters that all love you and adore you. I want to thank you for raising me in this great gospel and helping me build my own Testimony of Jesus Christ. I owe all my accomplishments to you. To all my sisters who have taught me more than they know. I have always looked up to all of you and appreciate your love, support and most of all friendship. You all are great mothers and love your children individually for who they are. This is to my mother-n-law who was first my friend. I want to thank you for raising such an amazing man that I love so much. Thank you for your friendship and for the wonderful person you are inside and out. I appreciate all you do and for the love you show to me everyday. Now to my best friend Kasey. You are an amazing mom and I always knew you would be. You are a great friend. I can't wait to live by you again so we can hang out and have our little boys be best of friends like we are. Again I love all of the special women in my life and Thank you all for teaching me and giving me guidance everyday.

Winter is BACK

Today is April 15th and it is snowing like it is going out of style. This really should be against the law. This is the very reason why I miss my lovely Arizona. I cant believe I am going to be living here for another winter or two. I am sorry for complaining but this is really not fun and I just wish that summer would come and stay for 11 months like it does in the great state of Arizona. Ok so enough of complaining I just wanted to write to you all to let you know that it is my fault. I jinxed this by posting that spring is here. Oh well!!!!

Spring....Finally!

So I am hoping and praying that spring is finally here, which means winter is over and no more SNOW!!! I loved the snow for the first two weeks but yeah after 4 months its a little annoying. Easter weekend was fun. I am kind of a bad mom only because we have no pictures. But I figured Nash is too little to realize what is going on so next year I will have the camera out for sure. I am really excited because I will be going back to school in January to finish my degree. I am thankful for a husband who is letting me finish and giving me the confidence to do so. I am excited for Rita and her girls to come stay with me for a couple of days. I really need to be around my sisters so I am really looking forward to this.
Jared will be finishing this semester next week and will start another semester end of April. He will he going to school in the spring, summer and fall and then graduate. He received a really high score on a paper he wrote for one of his classes and the teacher encouraged him to submit it as an orca project, which if it is excepted then he could qualify for a grant. I am really proud of him and his hard work. Well that is our update these last two weeks oh and one more thing. Nash has learned to say DON'T when I tell him no and when he says don't he hits me. I love motherhood!!! It helps me work on a Christ like attribute PATIENCE. I hope everyone has a great week!!

Weekend Update

These last few days have been fun even though not too much has happened. I did have another volleyball tournament yesterday. My girls did really well and I am proud of them for how much they have improved. I had fun but I sure did miss my husband and little boy! Today has been nice being able to watch General Conference and to hear the words from our Prophet. Again not too much has happened but I am grateful for a wonderful family!!!

So since I have not been felling well Jared rented Bolt for Nash and I to watch together. We are watching it together right now as we are chilling together on the couch. Since I have not been feeling well it has been nice to spend time with my son since I go to work everyday! So I just wanted to write today to thank my Heavenly Father for the small and simple things in my life. I am grateful that I am sick because I get to be with my family. My son absolutley loves animals. He starts doing this crazy sound whenever he sees an animal. I better get back to finishing watching bolt with Nash. Hopefully more updates to come soon.

Being Sick isnt fun

So this whole week our little family has not been feeling well. I stayed home from work today and was excited to be with my little boy but I have not been fun. I feel so bad for Nash cause he wants to play but all I am doing is laying on this stupid couch. I will be fine but I really hate not feeling good cause I wish I could be fun for my little one.
Ok so enough of the boring, poor me stuff we are 99% sure Jared will graduate in December 2009!!!!!! This is so exciting! Just one step closer to finishing and going off to Law School somewhere. We are still praying for ASU Law! Things are great and we cant wait for our fun vacations in the summer. That is if we will ever get summer. It SNOWED today!!!! I believe that is against the law. Anyway things are going great and we pray for more sunshine

So I know that I promised to update my blog weekly but everyone has weaknesses and mine is recording our fun, crazy lives. So much has happened in the last month I really do not know where to begin. Jared's parents came into town a couple of weeks ago and were able to stay for a whole week. It was so much fun for us to be with them and we appreciate them both. Nash has learned to be very independent and his new thing is to say "Oh shoot". At first it sounded like a 4 letter word and he always seemed to chant it in church or when we would have company over. But now it really sounds like shoot. He has a thing for dancing!!!! Lets just say he is Bob junior. I don't know what it is but all the boys in our family with red hair are so Bob junior its funny. When the music starts to play Nash's little finger will come up and he will shake it to the beat of the music just like my dad does. Dad you should be proud!!!! Also we were very blessed by a family in our ward who graciously gave Jared an $800 dollar program to study for the LSAT test that he will be taking in June of 2010. This couple was also given this program and were so excited to get rid of it. They have no idea how much it means to us. I know Jared will do great and we are hoping for ASU Law but it that does not work, of course we will go where the Lord needs us. Also this month I turned 27!!!! I feel that is so old only because when I was little I thought 20 was so far away. I would give anything to be that age again. Jared will finish his winter semester in April and the end of April start another semester to take 2 classes and then start 2 more classes for the summer term in June. After that he then will start fall in August and graduate in April of 2010. We are so proud of him, his hard work and dedication in making a great life for his family. We are excited to go to California in June for Jared's aunt's wedding and then Nash and I will go to Eager in July for our family reunion. We will end the summer by going to Arizona in August to have a little vacation before Jared starts school in the fall. We will have a busy year but we are excited to finish here at BYU!!!!!! We love our family and friends and thank you all for your love and support!!! Pictures soon!

The best weekend ever!!!!!!

So this weekend has been one of the best for me. On saturday I had a volleyball tournament that I had to coach at and I was gone from 7 in the morning until 7 at night. While I was gone Jared hung out with Nash all day and they prepared a wonderful dinner for me. Jared made this wonderful dinner and I was so thankful to come home to such a nice relaxing evening. He made stuffed pork loins and stuffed bell peppers. Today since it was Presidents Day so I was able to spend the whole day with Nash and Jared, which has been so much fun. This morning Nash and I went to Kiddie Kandids to get his one year old pictures done. I am grateful for a wonderful husband and a wonderful son who is full of life. Today is our little Nash's first birthday. We went down to Arizona this past weekend and had a family party. It was so good to see all of our family and friends and spend time with them. I hated to leave and did not want to go back to Utah where it is freakin cold. We were able to wear short sleves and flip flops the whole weekend. Oh how I miss Arizona. Nash loved having his cousins and friends with him to celebrate!! I espically loved being around my sisters. All of them were there, Becky and her girls suprised me and flew in on Saturday morning. It was the best trip ever. Also Linda's sisters and brother came down for the big event as well. We want to thank our family for making this happen. Here are some pictures of his birthday party.

We are excited for today!!!!!! We are of course going to watch and cheer on the Cardinals!!! This is the first year I was excited to be a part of Super Bowl Sunday cause of the Cardinals but mostly because of my husband, who has been watching ESPN since he woke up. We hope they win!!!! GO Cardinals.

So today I decided to really try to update my blog weekly. Well today is the first day so we will see how next week goes. No really I know I need to be better especially since I have no family around and they are not here to see our fat Nash grow up. So he is walking more and more everyday, which I love because he weighs a 100 lbs. Not really but he is close to it. Jared and I are very excited to go to Arizona next week for Nash's first birthday!! I can't believe he will be 1 years old in 10 days. I started coaching volleyball for the Utah Viper club. I coach the 13's and absolutely love it. My girls are great and Nash loves to watch them play. We miss everyone and hope to be around everyone soon.

Ok for all you bloggers who are on my case about not updating my blog. Here you go! So much has happened that I do not know where to begin. Nash's first Christmas was a blast and he took his first steps. He is getting more comfortable walking but is still not there yet. He is so much fun and makes us laugh everyday. We are excited for his first birthday where we are able to spend in Arizona with the family. Jared is almost finished with school and will graduate in April of 2010 with a bachelors in International Relations and a minor in German. We are very proud of him. After he graduates then I will finish my education and graduate in Physical Education. We can not wait to finish school and move on to the next step in our lives.
